Psychological Features of the Formation of Resilience in Volunteers
The dissertation theoretically substantiates and experimentally studies the problem of forming resilience in volunteers. A conceptual model of phased resilience formation is developed across personal, motivational, regulatory and behavioural levels. The leading role of social-support coping among the psychological predictors of resilience is demonstrated. Age and gender specificity of resilience and its linear dependence on volunteering experience are clarified. An author-developed program of psychological support and a validated methodology for diagnosing volunteers' altruistic orientation are proposed and evaluated.
